Angelo Ticli is an Italian Swiss guitarist, bassist, and vocalist from Lausanne, proudly carrying his Sicilian roots from Grammichele. A passionate artist with a powerful and sincere style, he embodies a brand of rock where the fire of Hard Rock meets the warmth and melodic heart of Italian music. His sound blends precision and emotion with instinctive energy, driven by a magnetic stage presence.
After serving as guitarist for SINONIMO, known for the acclaimed video “Tornerai”, Angelo stepped out on his own in 2025 to launch his solo career with “Cuore di Fuoco”, a fiery Italian rock anthem fully written and composed by him. Recorded at the Dpot Studio in Prato, Italy, under the direction of Fabrizio Simoncioni, the legendary producer and sound engineer of Litfiba, the song channels both passion and raw emotion. Scheduled for release in late November 2025, the track will be accompanied by an official music video directed by Yakkay, Angelo’s longtime friend and creative collaborator, known for his cinematic and visceral visual style.
The recording features an exceptional lineup:
Daniele “Barny” Bagni, the iconic bassist of Litfiba,
Angela Massarfa, a rising Italian guitar virtuoso,
Emanuele Ciancia, an Italian saxophonist with an explosive style, capable of igniting even the hardest rock riffs,
Christian Tabita, drummer of Nastyville,
and Giuseppe De Marco, keyboardist of Sinonimo.
That same year, Angelo wrote, composed, and arranged the track “Midnight Renegade”, inviting Mark Lee, frontman of Nastyville, to perform the vocals. Mark Lee accepted without hesitation. Impressed by the song’s power, Mark suggested bringing in his guitarist Dave Wild, and Angelo immediately agreed, staying true to his belief that rock is about the exchange of sounds, personalities, and creative energy. From this collaboration was born STREAMBREED, an international rock project driven by chemistry, passion, and the spirit of true friendship.
For this project, Angelo switched to bass, bringing his deep sense of groove, musical structure, and his uncompromising rock and roll spirit. His playing, precise yet instinctive, channels intensity and character, becoming the heartbeat of STREAMBREED’s sound and identity.
To mark the beginning of this new adventure, the band recorded a cover of Glenn Hughes’ classic “Soul Mover” at Ella Recording Studio in Massongy, France, with sound engineer Serge Fernex behind the console. Featuring the official drums of Alan Montanari, the session captured the raw energy and brotherhood of the project. The performance, available on YouTube , stands as the first official release from STREAMBREED and perfectly reflects the band’s chemistry and electrifying attitude.
Both “Midnight Renegade” and “Soul Mover” were mixed and mastered by Alessandro Del Vecchio, one of the most respected producers and musicians in the international rock scene. A cornerstone of Frontiers Music, Del Vecchio has worked with Hardline, Revolution Saints, Jorn, Whitesnake, and Edge of Forever. His mastering touch gave the tracks their global sound, powerful, cohesive, and unmistakably world class.
The project also features Sikyy Lyo, guitarist of the Swiss hard rock band Sideburn and a lifelong friend of Angelo, or as Angelo calls him, “Lyo, my bro.” A respected figure in the Swiss rock scene, Sikyy brings strength, chemistry, and authenticity to this collaboration.
On the visual side, Angelo works closely with director Yakkay (YMZPLA.com), whose cinematic eye and artistic instinct bring his music to life with style and intensity. Together, they create music videos that capture the soul of rock, raw, emotional, and visually striking.
Beyond his artistic path, Angelo Ticli graduated from the École d’Ingénierie Appliquée (EIA) in Lausanne (Switzerland), specializing in electronics. He trained and worked at NAGRA Audio, the world renowned Swiss company celebrated for excellence in professional sound engineering. That experience sharpened his precision, attention to detail, and pursuit of sonic perfection, traits that now define his work as a musician and producer.
Angelo Ticli embodies the essence of modern rock: authentic, passionate, and free. Every note, every riff, and every performance tells a story born of soul, heart, and pure sound.
